Chapter 174 Testament Of Will

The Kractacle started moving forward to the crash site, and as they reached closer, they noticed their breathing had become difficult.

"What is with the atmosphere?" Yang Liqin felt a bit uncomfortable as she asked Jiang Ming.

"The current atmosphere is probably caused by the meteor." Jiang Ming replied, retrieving a pill from his inventory.

"Here, take this pill and it should help circulate our breathing."

Yang Liqin nodded her head as she lifted her mask up a little bit. Her mouth was wide open, clearly telling him to feed her.

Jiang Ming sighed softly at her action.

He lifted his mask and threw the pill into his mouth before pulling Yang Liqin closer. After that, he leaned close to her mouth and started kissing her.

Yang Liqin\'s eyes were wide open when that happened. Before she could even comprehend the situation, she felt Jiang Ming\'s tongue pushing the pill toward her.

Her vision soon lost focus as she unconsciously consumed the pill while her tongue was being sucked on by Jiang Ming.

The kissing remained for another few seconds before Jiang Ming pulled away, creating a thin bridge line of saliva between them.

Yang Liqin\'s face was flushed red as she punched his chest lightly. "You perverted bastard…"

It was a good thing that he had kissed her at the top of the Kractacle. Otherwise, she would have been embarrassed completely if they were to have been caught by Ping Gong and Hung Chao.

After all, the two were at ground level, and with Kractacle\'s tentacle moving around, the two of them were unable to tell what was happening up top.

Jiang Ming laughed cheekily as he truly enjoyed kissing Yang Liqin\'s lips.

"You should have expected that to happen when you wanted me to feed you~" Jiang Ming said.

"Give me a heads up next time," Yang Liqin pouted and crossed her arms.

"But where would the surprise element go if I had warned you beforehand?"

"Hmph, you\'re so annoying."

Sometime later, the Kractacle stopped its movement, prompting Jiang Ming and Yang Liqin to stop flirting with each other.

"Alright, let\'s just focus on the meteor," Jiang Ming said, turning his attention to the large meteor.

However, his expression changed when he noticed the group of people that had gone ahead was all sitting in a lotus position with their eyes closed.

"What in the holy name is going on?" He asked in a dumbfounded tone.

While Jiang Ming was confused by their action, Yang Liqin on the other hand squinted her eyes suspiciously.

\'As expected… The meteor was a testament of will.\' Yang Liqin thought.

"Jiang Ming, be careful when you go down. Your consciousness might be sucked into the meteor." She warned him in a solemn tone.

"What do you mean by that?" Jiang Ming raised an eyebrow, clearly unable to comprehend her words.

Why would his consciousness be dragged into a meteor?

"That meteor is a testament of will, meaning it\'s the owner of the ancient ruin. Or a part of the owner\'s soul being implemented on the meteor. Our consciousness would automatically be sucked into it if we get too close and everyone would have a chance to be enlightened by the testament of will." Yang Liqin explained.

"A chance to be enlightened huh…" Jiang Ming rubbed his chin slightly.

"Does that mean whoever can be enlightened better would be the person inheriting the ancient ruin?" He asked.

Yang Liqin shrugged her shoulders.

"That I can\'t be too sure about, but one thing for sure is that one will greatly benefit if they manage to enlighten something from a testament of will. After all, it could only be created by someone with a cultivation base of Spiritual Saint Realm."

Suddenly, she paused her words and realized that she might have over spoken.

\'Crap… Jiang Ming wasn\'t supposed to know the higher realm.\' Yang Liqin exclaimed inwardly.

She hoped that Jiang Ming wouldn\'t have caught on to her words, but that was impossible.

"Y-You heard all of that?" She asked stutteringly.

\'Do I look deaf to you, aunt?\' Jiang Ming wanted to say that aloud. It was a good thing he managed to hold his words and not splurt them out.

"Hear about what?" Jiang Ming asked, feigning ignorance at this time. He knew that Yang Liqin definitely knows more than the average people in the Northern Continent.

And that she had some dilemma or doubts in her mind that refrained her from telling him the truth.

\'It must have been related to the Blood Curse, but whatever. When I climb back to the peak, I will definitely find out the truth.\' Jiang Ming thought.

Sometime later, the two of them slid down from above using the tentacles from Kractacle.

"Fellow cultivator Jing and fellow cultivator Yiqin, I\'ll be heading ahead to test my luck."

The moment they came down, Ping Gong cupped his fist and told them his plan.

Hung Chao also followed the same and began walking ahead with Ping Gong. Their eyes were brimmed in fiery red color, showing their excitement.

It was clear that the two had decided to compete with each other again, and wanted to see who was better.

It didn\'t even take a minute before the two of them sat in a lotus position with their eyes closed, their consciousness being dragged into the meteor.

"Hmm, isn\'t this the perfect time to kill off our enemies?" Jiang Ming suddenly asked Yang Liqin.

"Look at them. Their bodies are still here, but their consciousness is somewhere else. If we just kill their body, then even if their consciousness returns, only death awaits them."

"..."

Yang Liqin was unable to believe him. "That is such an immoral thing to do, Jiang Ming."

She was so baffled by it that she had inadvertently called out his real name.

"Immoral or not, that\'s just the way of life, aunt." Jiang Ming similarly responded without calling her alias anymore.

"The process doesn\'t matter as long as the result we want is achieved."
