Now that he had the core necessary he could focus on gaining the gold and killing this other kingdom\'s leader.
"This city, can I hear more about it? I\'m not quite sure what the best path would be for killing a leader..."
She looked around before simply shaking her head.
"Yes but not here, I will return you to the city and then I can tell you everything that you wish to know from the safety of the walls."
He did not argue and simply followed her back, he thought about the new spell all the while however.
The spells that Lucretia used were essentially lasers and he understood that they were a damage over time based spell but he wasn\'t sure how they worked, this new spell was his way of making a powerful damage option in his own way.
Since the spell worked how he hoped he didn\'t care about any inadequacies but he still wanted to understand why she used lasers.
As they travelled to the city he saw how dark it was getting, this one task alone had taken almost a full day and with how far he had gone in focusing on this quest he would probably lose track of the number of days left to play.
\'Well I have my tasks and I can\'t avoid them, it\'s best if I just work my way through this... I wonder if they have a dungeon?\'
"Hey Leya is there a dungeon nearby?"
She nods in response and began to look around as if sensing something.
"The dungeon is well equipped and fits the levels of our territory, it has a focus on the poison element so after you obtain it you should take time to build resistance."
"Wait, obtain it?"
"Yes. You got your life affinity right? Well poison is another status element."
"Um... can you explain what a status element is?"
She sighs before nodding.
"Sometimes I forget about your circumstances. A status element is not tied to the four prime elements and is generally seen as a utility based element."
She raised her hand and her claws developed a purple glow.
"Poison is the status element of death and decay so it is usually very dangerous but the poison affinity can also help you. With enough skill in both life affinity and poison affinity a skilled healer could easily create a powerful buffing spell."
She then slashed outward and a wave of purple mana struck a tree which began to turn grey and lifeless.

"Poison mana is also obviously used for poisoning a target which would probably help you with that strange spell of yours."
The idea excited him and he nodded.
"I want to learn it! What are some other status elements since I can learn more?"
She began to describe the other two status elements.
"Well first you have Psionic mana, psionic mana is used for mostly mental attacks like illusions or sleep."
She suddenly appeared to have bright green skin but his mana sight held this effect in an odd way since he could see the mana was acting like a second skin.
"Whoa ok that\'s cool."
She nods and begins to show him the next element.
"This is blood magic and it is mainly used as a medium for other forms of magic by using mana rich blood to enhance other spells and creations that can use blood as an ingredient."
"Oh I\'ve seen that one!"
He watched as she was mostly manipulating a deep red mana that had been pulled from her body when she cut herself.
"Guess you just have to learn that one then?"
She nods and gives him a strange look.
"Well those are the four status elements and they have unique methods of harnessing them as you have clearly seen but there are more than the four prime elements as well."
She smiled and showed off a mana construct made of ice.
"Each element has what people call a sibling or an extension. For example I have a water affinity and a fire affinity but through thorough training I managed to unlock my latent potential with the ice affinity."
"So what are the other elements?"
"Well fire has the magma element, wind has the lightning element, water has the ice element and earth has the metal element."
She began explaining how each element worked in conjunction with one another while they saw the walls in the distance.
"You will have to know everything about the kingdom that you will be entering."

The kingdom of ShaLae was a region ruled by the human race.
Their capital, the city of Shae, was known for being very opposed to non humans.
"So wait... why are the humans racist?"
"They are not racist they simply fear the inevitable fate of all of humanity."
"And that would be?"
"Integration. Humans are capable of reproducing with every race in our world and they have a short lifespan compared to many of the other races, because of this simple fact it is rare to find a city that does not have humans but those humans are usually halflings."
"A city that has humans is far more likely to have halflings if it is an integrated city but because of this it is unlikely to find humans that are not already related to one another."
She began to explain further when she saw his confusion and this was his interpretation.
Most people will not care about the mixing of races if their society does not oppose it, because of this the humans will likely not seek out other humans for any sense of purity but instead they would marry for attraction or love.
Since this tendency to marry for such reasons leads to a lack of care about the species the humans tend to breed themselves out of society.
With less humans and more halflings as well as more individuals with a pure lineage being around it makes the human bloodline unlikely to survive.
In fact the human race was already in a state that his home would consider endangered.
"Because of population records we know that approximately 60% of the previous generation has integrated into another race which means 60% of humanity will be lost when their life is over."
"Well Integration isn\'t a bad thing right? It means more union between the races."
She nods for a moment but then sighs.
"Losing the human race would be devastating for the world no matter how good a union between the races may be. The death of the human race would mean the stagnation of our world."
"Why would it stagnate though?"
She laughed and began to explain further.
Apparently the human race dies so much sooner than other races that they work harder to create a legacy.
This legacy tends to create a boost for the world by introducing new ideas that other can expand upon.
By losing the ingenuity of the human race they would lose many of the creations that would have happened.
Because of this fact there were many regions that had begun to isolate from other races as a way to preserve the human race but this was only a temporary solution.
The hope was that the halflings would inherit the ingenuity of the human race as well as the potential to integrate other races by breeding with any other.
In this world the human race was doomed to extinction by integration.
