Chapter 1784: A Man of Unrivaled Charm

Chapter 1784: A Man of Unrivaled Charm

The boundary ship’s violent shaking was caused precisely by the obstruction of the black treasure ship.

“The ship of the Skeleton Bird Bandits!”

Gasps rang out, and Fu Tong, who was operating the ship, turned pale.

“Damn it, how did we run into those bandits in the starry sky?!”

In the hall, Ma Taizhen’s expression also changed.

The starry sky was vast and full of dangers. Even on a fixed route, natural calamities and man-made disasters could happen unpredictably.

Nebula Bandits were an existence that all cultivators of the world feared and detested the most.

They were like parasites in the starry sky, making a living by plundering boundary ships. They came and went without a trace, and each of them was a ruthless and sinister character who licked blood off the edge of a knife.

Ordinary bandits who had sharp eyes would recognize that the boundary ship belonged to the Alchemy Dao Sect and would not dare to mess around or might even stay far away.

But the Skeleton Bird Bandits were different.

In the starry sky of the Great Yu World, the Skeleton Bird Bandits was regarded as one of the strongest bandit groups.

Their leader, Skeleton Bird Daoist, was one of the most notorious evil cultivators. He possessed the terrifying strength of the Saint-King Stage and had the Thirteen Great Bandits under his command. Each of them was a supreme Big Saint who could hold their own.

This bandit group did not care what sect one belonged to. Once they locked on a target, they would be treated as prey and looted.

This was the reason why Ma Taizhen and Fu Tong were pale with terror.

After inquiring a little, Lin Xun donned a surprised look. He had taken over the Alchemy Dao Sect’s boundary ship, but they happened to run into a group of bandits. He could only say that Ma Taizhen and his people were very unlucky.

Without delay, he stood up and looked ahead.

Very quickly, his eyes narrowed. The huge black treasure ship was damaged and broken in many parts and it was enveloped in a bloody stench.

Corpses were strewn everywhere, asprawl in pools of blood. They each had the space between their eyebrows pierced by a sharp object and their faces were distorted with fear, as if they had seen the most frightening thing in the world before they died.

With Lin Xun’s powerful spirit sense, he immediately determined that the bodies were supreme Big Saints!

In particular, one of the old men in a daoist robe exuded an aura far superior to that of a supreme Big Saint. Clearly, he was a Saint-King.

But without exception, he also had a hole pierced in between his eyebrows!

“Heavens, Skeleton Bird Daoist and the Great Thirteen Bandits under his command are all killed?” Ma Taizhen screamed, his face filled with shock and fear.

This bandit group had roamed the starry sky for thousands of years, looting many sects and killing countless people. They were notorious for their ruthlessness. But due to their mysterious movements and cunningness, cultivators of the Great Yu World had struggled to eradicate them.

But now, they were completely wiped out!

Who killed them all?

Lin Xun’s gaze glided to a skeleton chair, on which sat a figure with its back facing toward them.

The moment Lin Xun looked at it, the skeleton chair turned to reveal the front of the figure.

“Fellow Daoist, do you mind if I travel with you on the boundary ship?”

It was a man in a pink robe covered with pink roses. His long, jet-black hair was fixed with a hairpin, accentuating his handsome face that perfectly fitted the description of ‘beautiful.’

He had a pair of charming phoenix eyes and a slender and tall figure. His skin was creamy and fair, and even his voice was uniquely gentle and magnetic.

Such a beautiful man would take anyone’s breath away.

Yet, he had an extraordinary air around him and seemed as broad minded as he was charming.

“Did you kill all these bandits?” Lin Xun asked.

The handsome man in pink nodded with a smile. “Everyone has a right to deal with those thugs.” His voice was soft and smooth.

Ma Taizhen and Fu Tong inhaled sharply, their hearts trembling.

The man whose beauty would make many women feel inferior had single handedly killed a Saint-King and thirteen supreme Big Saints?

Who was he?

Where did he come from?

They had never heard of any cultivator in the Great Yu World who wore such a unique pink robe with a rose pattern.

Lin Xun asked, “Does that mean you also took all the wealth of those bandits?”

The handsome man in pink was taken aback for a moment. His expression flickered. “Fellow Daoist, do you also want a share?” He stood up as he asked. His every move and gesture exuded a natural elegance and noble air.

Lin Xun answered, “I have no interest in robbing others. You can travel on the boundary ship if you want. Hand over three thousand dao crystals.”

Three thousand dao crystals!

Ma Taizhen and Fu Tong tensed up nervously, worried that Lin Xun would offend the unknown man in pink.

After all, three thousand dao crystals was a tremendous amount. A ride on a boundary ship would not require that much reward.

Unexpectedly, the man in pink agreed readily. With a wave of his fair hand, he tossed a storage bag to Lin Xun.

“I believe in fate. It is fate that brought us to meet in this vast starry sky. I will give you six thousand dao crystals.” He said with a smile as he walked lightly, and in the blink of an eye he was standing on the boundary ship, sleeves fluttering in the wind and exuding a refreshing fragrance.

He was indeed too beautiful. Even some male monks with special tastes would drool over him.

In fact, even Ma Taizhen and Fu Tong felt their hearts flutter uncontrollably. This guy... is too damn handsome. Even the most beautiful women in the world would be cast into the shade next to him.

Lin Xun was a little surprised. He proposed the condition of three thousand dao crystals with the intention that the other party would back down. Unexpectedly, the other party seemed to not mind at all.

“Fellow Daoist, where should I stay?” The pink-robed man glanced around.

“Anywhere.”

Lin Xun turned around and walked away. The pink-robed man’s mannerism was more like a woman than an actual woman. Even though he exuded a noble and ethereal aura, it was still a bit discomforting for him.

The pink-robed man nodded and followed Lin Xun. “Fellow Daoist, I am called Jun Huan, what about you?” he asked, smiling.

As for Ma Taizhen and Fu Tong, he completely ignored them and never glanced at them once.

“Lin Daoyuan.”

Lin Xun pointed at the black bandit ship in the distance and asked, “Don’t you think that ship is blocking the way?”

Jun Huan smiled. “That’s going to be a little tricky.”

He flicked his sleeve.

A pink sword flew out, glowing a dreamy, mysterious hue, and slashed across the air.

Silently, the tremendous black ship was knocked off the air route without being split open.

Swoosh!

The pink sword suddenly flew back and vanished without a trace.

Lin Xun’s black eyes flashed as he glanced at Jun Huan. “I didn’t realize you were a swordsman. That sword is very powerful.”

A captivating smile graced Jun Huan’s face. “The sword is called Momentary Beauty, it is my lifebound flying sword. It is just about perfect for me.”

Lin Xun cast him a surprised glance and then said after some deliberation, “I must remind you that I seized this boundary ship, which means there will definitely be trouble in the future. Are you sure you want to stay here?”

Jun Huan was taken aback by the question at first then he couldn’t help but laugh, “Interesting, there are not many people in the starry sky who dare to forcibly seize a boundary ship, and even fewer are as honest as you.”

After a pause, he continued, “Then I might as well tell you that besides believing in fate, I am also a person who is not afraid of trouble.”

Lin Xun furrowed his brows, knowing that the guy was set on staying. “If that’s the case, then you better behave yourself.” With that, he turned around and left.

Watching Lin Xun depart, Jun Huan snapped open a pink folding fan with paintings of beauties on it and chuckled, “Really interesting, it’s fate...”

From that day on, the mysterious and incredibly handsome man Jun Huan became a member of the boundary ship.

He often sat at the bow of the boat, wine pot in hand, and drank by himself. His pink robe billowed in the wind, and he looked indescribably elegant and dashing.

Apart from this, he did not do anything out of the ordinary.

But whether it was Lin Xun, Ma Taizhen, Fu Tong or anyone, no one dared to forget his existence. A person who could wipe out the Skeleton Bird Bandits by himself could not be an ordinary character.

“Nan Qiu, when we arrive in the Great Yu World, you won’t be able to train in the Alchemy Dao Sect, but I will find a suitable sect for you.”

That day, Lin Xun went to find Nan Qiu for a chat.

Nan Qiu nodded. Unlike before, she was much more stiff and reserved when facing Lin Xun and she no longer called him ‘Little Brother Lin.’

This made Lin Xun sigh in his heart, but he knew that he couldn’t change anything. All he could do was to arrange for her to train in a good place before he left the Great Yu World.

Time passed by and the journey was rather quiet and peaceful.

Lin Xun estimated that they would reach the Great Yu World in around three days.

On this day, Ma Taizhen, Fu Tong and Yu Yunhe came to find Lin Xun. Although their cultivation had been suppressed by Lin Xun, they were not confined.

“Fellow Daoist, you should at least let us know how you plan to deal with us, isn’t that right.” Ma Taizhen asked directly.

Lin Xun did not answer, but looked at Yu Yunhe and questioned him, “Are you from the Imperial Yu Clan?”

Yu Yunhe was taken aback by the question and said in a muffled voice, “That’s correct.”

Ever since this domineering descendant of the Imperial Yu Clan had been captured by Lin Xun, he had quelled his arrogance and become listless.

The past days had been torment for him, as he had been worried that the thought of killing them might suddenly cross Lin Xun’s mind. He had completely lost all spirit.

“Then, do you recognize this item?”

Lin Xun turned his hand over as he asked, and a token sat in his palm. The character ‘Yu’ was engraved on it in ancient bird-worm seal script.

Yu Yunhe stared blankly at him for a moment, then an expression of disbelief crossed his face as he cried out, “That’s an item that our Ancestor Qingyang always carries on him! Why would it be in your hands?”

Drinking at the ship bow far away, Jun Huan couldn’t help but turn his head this way with an amused look on his face.
