Chapter 351 - 351: A Miracle Doctor Without Martial Skills Is Not A Good Actor (3)

The Supreme Elder stroked his beard, “Mr. Yu, your skills in go are exceptional. I am humbled.”

“I’ve come for some medicinal herbs,” Yu Xiheng said, pushing a list towards him. “I need everything on this list.”

The Supreme Elder took the list and frowned, “These aren’t the herbs for

treating your leg.”

“Yes,” Yu Xiheng responded coolly. “They are for something else, available only here.”

“The medicine for your leg must not be interrupted,” the Supreme Elder cautioned, concerned. “If it is, your recovery could be jeopardized.”

Yu Xiheng’s gaze swept over him, silent and scrutinizing.

The Supreme Elder, under the bear the force of such gaze, sweated under the intensity of his stare.

“It’s alright,” Yu Xiheng said after a few seconds, a faint smile appearing. “My leg is already healed.”

“What?!” The Supreme Elder stood up suddenly, his face flushed with excitement. “Your leg is healed? The monthly pain is gone too?”

“Yes,” Yu Xiheng affirmed calmly.

“Which miracle doctor treated you?” the Supreme Elder inquired. ‘Who could completely cure your leg ailment?”

Yu Xiheng smiled slightly, “Yes, someone did.”

The Supreme Elder cautiously ventured, “You must have heard of the

Ghosthand Heavenly Doctor. If anyone’s medical skill surpasses that of the

Miracle Doctor Alliance, excluding the NPCs in ‘Eternity,’ it would be

Ghosthand.”

“I have a thought, and I’m sure Mr. Yu must have heard of the name Heavenly Doctor Ghosthand,” the Supreme Elder spoke with great caution. “If there’s anyone whose medical skills surpass those in the Miracle Doctor Alliance, excluding the NPCs from ‘Eternity,’ it would only be the Heavenly Doctor Ghosthand.”

After all, NPCs (Non-Player Characters) were just a set of data. No matter how powerful their data settings were, they couldn’t possibly cross over into reality.

But the Heavenly Doctor Ghosthand was different.

With a gaming pod, this person could traverse between the game and reality.

Yu Xiheng leaned back, his gaze softening from its usual sharpness, and spoke in a calmer tone, “I guessed as much.”

He had known ever since Si Fuqing first treated his leg.

The timeline in the holographic game and reality were not the same.

It made sense that she knew so much.

The Supreme Elder breathed a sigh of relief: “I assure you, Mr. Yu, your secret is safe with me. You have been a benefactor to our Miracle Doctor Alliance, and though I have little to offer in return, I hold you in the highest regard. At your command.”

Yu Xiheng looked up, his gaze landing on a portrait hanging opposite the door of the wooden house.

It bore the words “Emperor Yin.”

Apart from being ugly, it was still ugly.

Setting down his teacup, he picked up another chess piece, “Let’s continue.”

The Supreme Elder wore a grim expression.

It seemed he was going to lose all of his hair today.

The next day marked the start of the second round of filming for the show.

Unsurprisingly, Si Fuqing was the first to pass again, leaving the second place contestant three hours behind.

The director was beyond the point of amusement.

With two months of filming left, he was determined to find a way to challenge Si Fuqing.

After a day of survival activities, the six guests returned to the camp.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we will have a special guest joining us tomorrow,” announced the assistant director, clapping his hands. “We are also about to start our first major challenge: Escape from the Primitive Tribe. Please be prepared!”

[A special guest? Who could it be?]

[Please no more celebrities just for the sake of views. Not everyone has the charisma of Si Fuqing.]

[Looking forward to tomorrow! Hoping for a surprise.]

“Miss Si,” the assistant director called out to Si Fuqing, gesturing her over. “You have an urgent call. Please come and check.”

“Hm?” Si Fuqing walked over and took the phone. “Hello?”

“Miss Si, I’ve been on guard all of yesterday, but I don’t know what happened. When I went to check just now, the Millennium Earth Treasure Flower withered!” Shang Lu’s voice was anxious. “Now what do we do? With the flower gone, Mr. Jiang can’t participate in the assessment!”

“Don’t panic,” Si Fuqing replied calmly. “I’ll come over and take a look. Just wait for me and ensure their safety.”

“Alright.” Shang Lu’s confidence was restored. “Don’t worry, Miss Si, these people are no match for me.”

He might not be able to defeat Miss Si, but he could certainly handle these people.

“Director, I need to step out for a moment,” Si Fuqing said, ending the call.

“Need to grab some food.”

The director took a deep breath and acquiesced, “Go ahead.” [Hahaha, the director looks utterly despondent.]

[At this rate, the chickens the crew released on the mountain will all be caught.]

Si Fuqing confidently left the camp, following the map drawn by Jiang Changfeng to the village.

Upon entering, she saw the Jiang family of four gathered around a glass dome.

Inside the dome were petals scattered on the ground.

They had withered, but traces of red were still visible.

“The medicine has been destroyed, and I have no idea what method they used,” Jiang Changning said, pressing his lips together. “It’s truly a case of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.”

Their family had always lived peacefully, in a remote location.

Who would have thought they would still become a target?

“It’s too late now,” Jiang Luying said gravely. “The assessment is in three days, and there’s not enough time to cultivate a new plant. None of our other medicinal herbs are old enough.”

If they failed this assessment, they would lose their land.

Regardless of where, without strength, one becomes a pariah.

Even in the four alliances, this rule applied, including the Heaven Earth Alliance, which only involved music, chess, literature, and poetry.

“Oh, Jiang Luying, where’s your Millennium Earth Treasure Flower?” A voice, laced with mockery, approached from afar. “Aren’t you capable? Then grow another one or better yet, bring a superior one from ‘Eternity.”‘

“Oh, wait, I forgot, you only have a three-star account; you can’t bring out medicinal herbs.”

Jiang Luying raised his head to see the approaching figures, his gaze icy, “Fang

Mingquan’s lackeys!”

“Being a lackey is better than not even being able to participate in the assessment,” the man laughed nonchalan tly, then turned to Si Fuqing with a sneer, ‘You, who injured so many of our brothers, if the Jiang family fails the assessment and is expelled, don’t think you’ll get off easily.”

“Yes, you can protect them and give them medicinal herbs for the assessment, can’t you? I advise you to mind your own business. You can’t handle this!”

It’s unknown where this brazen young lady, opposing Fang Mingquan, got her courage from.

Si Fuqing turned around, unhurriedly, “I can, actually.”

Before anyone could react, she tapped the table and called out, “Utility man, come here. Now, immediately enter your gaming capsule and log into the

game. ”

Jiang Changfeng suddenly looked over, his pupils contracting, “You…” Jiang Luying and Jiang Changning were also stunned.

‘Eternity,’ the holographic game, was no secret within the Miracle Doctor Alliance, but outside, it was classified information.

Jiang Changning didn’t play ‘Eternity,’ but she knew how difficult it was to obtain access to the game.

Si Fuqing sat down, her expression composed, “Follow my instructions. Enter the Ghost Valley. Don’t worry about anything else. I’ll let you know how much of the medicinal herb to collect..”
